🎶🐾 Auditions Announced for Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS at The Center for Performing Arts
Young performers are invited to take center stage this spring as The Center for Performing Arts Players Youth Ensemble announces auditions for Disney’s The Aristocats KIDS—a lively, music-filled production perfect for elementary-age students who love to sing, act, and perform.
This beloved Disney story comes to life with catchy songs, playful characters, and plenty of opportunities for young actors to shine, making it a wonderful first theater experience or a fun next step for seasoned performers.

Auditions will be held on:
- Monday, March 2, 2026 at 6:00 PM
- Friday, March 6, 2026 at 5:30 PM

🎤 What to Expect at Auditions
Students interested in any singing role should prepare:
- A short audition song in the style of the show
- Any Disney song is acceptable
- Approximately 30 seconds (a verse and chorus are typical)
- Bring accompaniment cued on a phone or electronic device
Students who sing a cappella or with vocals on the track may not be considered for singing roles, as the team wants to clearly hear each performer’s voice and ability to follow accompaniment.
Students interested in acting roles will take part in a fun improvisation game, giving everyone a chance to show personality, creativity, and confidence.
👧🧒 Who Can Participate?
- Ages 5–12 are welcome to audition
- Students not interested in a role do not need to audition and may still participate in the Youth Ensemble
Youth Ensemble rehearsals take place:
- Mondays 6:00–7:30 PM
- Fridays 5:30–7:00 PM
Students interested in a role are strongly encouraged to register for both rehearsal days.
